Cypripedium 'Frosch's Queen of the Mist' is an exceptional clone of the Cypripedium x ventricosum 'Pastel' strain that is now only propagated vegetatively to preserve these exceptional traits. The traits include being very robust, quickly forming a large clump with an exceptional floral show. In early May (NC), the 1' tall stalks are topped with a flower composed of a large white pouch (labellum), backed by three prominent chartreuse sepals. Our offerings are all flowering-sized plants, and keep in mind that this special clone is very limited in quantity. All of our ladyslipper orchid offerings are flowering-sized plants.
