Agapanthus 'Twister' is an amazing introduction from the master agapanthus breeders at De Wet Aloe Farm in South Africa. This vigorous selection is the pinnacle of years of breeding between Agapanthus praecox subsp. orientalis and Agapanthus campanulatus. Each semi-deciduous clump is composed of 1' long leaves, and topped, starting in mid-June (NC), with 4' tall stalks, ending in 7" wide clusters of tubular bicolor flowers; white tips with a violet blue base.
